3D Girls, Inc. – Better Presentation
The Nonprofit organization 3D Girls, Inc. is an organization that is dedicated to empowering young girls within STEM fields. Although much of their purpose and goal is an extremely important and honorable one, their website leaves much to be desired. While it serves its intended purpose rather well, and serves as a very apt and descriptive catalog for all of the Nonprofit’s activities and events, there were some organizational elements that could be better improved to improve the user experience upon entering their site, as well as re-organized to convey information in a manner that makes more categorical sense. Furthermore, they could also benefit from several improvements in the variety that the Nonprofit uses to convey its information on important events and such. Currently as it stands, 3D Girls, Inc. utilizes the main webpage as a primary mode of communication, and supplemental social media posts for quick updates. I propose a better utilization of their social media to reflect the manner in which each social media platform operates, as well as a monthly newsletter, in order for 3D Girls, Inc. to effectively reach as many people as possible.
