
3D Girls Inc. has a very active Instagram account, posting almost every week. However, I believe they could improve the content of their posts to better reach potential donors and volunteers while also uplifting their mission. One way to do this is by highlighting the young girls who participate in 3D Girls Inc. programs. Showcasing a girl’s testimonial would allow audiences to connect with the organization and its mission on a deeper, more personal level.
For my second artifact, I created an example of a testimonial post on Canva using the nonprofit’s signature colors of pink, blue, and purple, to match the existing aesthetic on their Instagram page. I also noticed that their posts are bold and fun, so I incorporated abstract design elements to align with that style. Since I was not able to interview an actual participant, I improvised by using a fictional name, testimonial, and photo for the visual example.
