After reviewing the 3D Girls Inc. website, one thing stood out to me: their current logo doesn’t clearly communicate what the nonprofit is about. For my artifact, I chose to design a new logo for 3D Girls Inc. that better reflects the organization’s values. I used Canva to create the logo and based the color palette on the pink, blue, and purple tones featured on their website.
I incorporated the silhouette of a girl to represent the organization’s focus on serving young girls in the Atlanta area. I also included STEM-related symbols, since the website highlights 3D Girls Inc.’s mission to empower girls to explore STEM career pathways. To complete the logo, I added the words “educate,” “empower,” and “advocate” to represent the organization’s motto.
