I chose to explain the artifact to bring awareness to city camp hosted by Civic tech with a few basic design principles. I made sure to include a typeface that would be bold yet simple to read to draw viewers to the flyer. I also wanted to use bright and bold colors for the same reason.
A flyer might stop someone in their tracks if seen in a community center , bill board , or sidewalk if bold colors were incorporated. I used Canva as I felt it was the easiest for me due to using it on a daily basis. Canva is great in my opinion for quick digital designs as the images , elements , and font is free the use both personally and commercially. I think this artist that would be best suited in most all platforms. This could be used as an Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or any other social media platforms, as well as printed and delivered physically.
Short, brief, to the point is what people appreciate in any type of information that is disseminated, especially in regards to nonprofit because you want to know if this is a nonprofit or a bit that they are willing to support. I am glad you know the design this artifact and I hope that it is in bring awareness to This event.
